The Yamaha Copper Nouveau Snare Drum cuts through loud music yet has a warmer tone than other metal shells. It also has enhanced low frequencies for darker tones that work well in just about all musical situations. The quick-release low-contact Nouveau lugs allow the shell to vibrate for a more resonant drum and wide dynamic range. They also allow much quicker head changes because the tension rods don't have to be removed to take off the hoop. A detachable strainer and butt allow you to remove the snare wires for snare-side head changes and reattach them quickly with a single drum key screw.
