In our pursuit to bring more and more unique drum offerings to the world, Taye Specialty is a product line that serves as a launching point for many new and/or limited edition models. Some releases may be limited to short production runs of 100 or less, while others could be transformed into long-term production models. This Taye Specialty Walnut/Maple Hybrid snare drum fuses the attack and punch of walnut with the classic warmth and sustain of maple. Two plies on the outside and inside of this drum are walnut, while the core plys are maple. Additionally, internal 6-ply maple sound rings have been added for added tone. Natural walnut finish and vintage style tube lugs round out the features of this snare.
