The lower coil in the Shadow SH 660 Singlebucker Passive Guitar Pickup is reverse wound without magnets and produces no audio. The upper coil features Alnico magnets. Unlike other stacked humbuckers which have the traditional humbucker sound, this unique design produces the vintage single coil sound without the 50-60 Hz hum.
