The Schilke X Series with Tunable Bell offers a more free-blowing instrument in comparison to the S or B Series instruments. The X Series features a large #1 taper bell for outstanding projection plus a responsive design. The tunable bell design allows the tuning slide to be left all the way in or moved only a little to keep the bore relatively free of gaps that may cause a disturbance in the nodel pattern of the sound wave. The X Series Tunable Bell Trumpets are available in a choice of a large or extra large bore configuration in the X3L or X4L design.
