With the TD-6S V-Tour Electronic Drum Set, Roland has upgraded one of its most popular kits. Features include an improved 10" mesh snare pad, gum rubber pads with dual triggering, improved vertical kick trigger, and more. The heart of the TD-6S is the TD-6V Percussion Sound Module. Going beyond the flash black look and cool blue LCD screen, this 64-voice module is loaded with 1,024 of Roland's best drum and percussion sounds and 262 backing instruments. Kits and patterns arm you to play the latest music styles. Dual-trigger tom inputs permit rim shots and greater expressiveness. Big, luminous buttons make the TD-6V electronic drums easy to use and are very welcome when playing live music on darkened stages. Upgraded pads and cymbals The TD-6S includes Roland's popular PD-X8 mesh V-Pad with dual-triggering capability for playing separate snare and rim sounds. For the toms, the PD-8 rubber pads with dual-trigger support let you play rim shots. The PD-8 is also used for the hi-hat to produce expressive bow/edge sounds. The CY-8 cymbals offer swinging motion with great response, separate bow/edge triggering, and choke capabilities. Their look and feel closely resemble acoustic cymbals. Upright kick trigger The KD-8 Kick Trigger Pad's vertical design not only gives you great feel compared to reverse-type triggers, but it also reduces trembling so you get nothing but solid kick sounds. The KD-8 will even accommodate double bass pedals. NOTE: Kick pedal not included. Ultrasensitive hi-hat control The FD-8 Hi-Hat Controller gives you more authentic sound with smooth transitions between open and closed.
