Wanting to no longer use hard rubber or ebonite because of its sulfur content, Peter Ponzol found a new material for his Custom mouthpieces. They are now made of Delrin, a high-tech plastic that the FDA has approved for food use and which has many other qualities which make it a better material for mouthpieces than hard rubber. It makes a perfect mouthpiece for those who don't like metal, but want a modern mouthpiece with a similar response and sound. Available in one tip opening for soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone.
