Maple has a proven resonance, which results in bright top end with enhanced lower-mid frequencies produced by the thickness of the shell. This affords greater balance between resonance and volume making Maple a versatile material and is often described as warm sounding due to its wide ranging frequency response. All shells are 7-ply American Maple and are available in many high gloss lacquer and sparkle finishes. The hardware features rounded lugs branded with the Natal "Sun" and Natal's NRM (Natal Resonance Mount) tom mounting system which utilizes an aluminum ball for enhanced durability. Each tom has two die-cast Natal badges featuring the ‘Sun’ logo. The bass drum features a wood I.D. badge, as well as hefty, custom bass drum spurs for a stable low end. Additionally, a tri-position snare throw off will give a drummer flexibility in a set or band with a wide range. The Natal Rock configuration features deep sized toms for great bottom end projection and volume that will cut through both live or in the studio. Cymbals and hardware sold separately.
