Morgan Protone clarinet mouthpieces are hand-faced in the Morgan shop. Protone mouthpieces are made of a mix of hard rubber and synthetics with 30% natural rubber—double the government's requirement of 15% to be called a rubber mouthpiece. ProTone student clarinet mouthpieces are given the same attention as a top-line Morgan model. Their curves, tip, rails, and more are all cut and shaped by hand to the same exacting specifications.
