The Meisel 7294VA is handmade in Romania from select hand carved Carpathian maple and spruce. It features a nicely flamed back, sides and neck, and a hand-applied antique oil varnish finish. The design is complemented by an ebony fingerboard, pegs and chinrest. A Wittner Ultra tailpiece with 4 string adjusters ensure fast accurate tuning. The viola comes set up with D’Addario Prelude strings and includes a Meisel 6373 thermoplastic case with valance along with a Glasser 301H bow.
