Mahalo’s first non-master volume offering, the VMW38 pushes 38W through 6L6 power tubes, producing a bit less gain than the AEM50. Three 12AX7 tubes driving the preamp and the non-master volume circuit make the VMW38 a very dynamic amp. It delivers shimmering clean tones, and will rock when you want it to. Having four inputs allows channel bridging and even more tonal and breakup options. And, like any Mahalo amp, the VMW38 cleans up by simply rolling off a little volume on your guitar. It’s best suited for rock, blues, jazz and classic rock playing styles.
