Handmade at the Larrivee workshop in Vancouver, it features all solid-wood construction with Canadian Sitka spruce for the top and mahogany for the back & sides. The top is braced using Larrivee's symmetrical bracing pattern that produces their distinctive sound. The bass is solid and tight, with great projection. Mid-range is strong, and highs are crystal clear. Overall balance is excellent with the power that only the dreadnought body shape can provide. Other touches includes maple binding around the spruce top that adds a touch of elegance. The mahogany neck has a durable dovetail neck joint and sports an ebony fingerboard with ivoroid binding that belies this guitar's budget-friendly price.
