Upper Horn This extended Upper Horn creates constant contact with the Maple/Bubinga neck from the 12th to the 24th fret, providing maximum stability and increased sustain. Contoured Neck Scoop The back of the neck is sculpted for comfort and easy access to the very highest notes on the C string. The smooth, graceful contour allows the palm of the left hand to move quickly and easily as it transitions up the neck, into the underside of the bass's Ash body. 5pc BTB-6 Maple/Bubinga 35" Scale Thru-Neck The Maple/Bubinga combination creates one of the strongest Thru-Necks available. The density of the Bubinga, combined with the strength of the Maple, increases stability and sustain through the entire body of the bass. The 35" scale provides a bit more tension for the low B and improves definition in the lower range. Mono-Rail II bridge The Mono-Rail bridge delivers the ultimate in string-to-string isolation, allowing each string to vibrate optimally without being affected by the others. The Terra Firma's string spacing is 17mm, offering more freedom on the fretboard and easy access for finger picking and slapping.
