This 6" x 5-1/2" Tumbao Series Guiro Timbale is made from a rolled-steel shell and features the same professional features as the Alex Acuña Series Timbales. With a brighter cascara and overall tone, Gon Bops' Tumbao timbales are versatile enough for most Jazz, Rock, or Latin situations. Gon Bops timbales are the result of years of refinement and design innovation. From the steel shell Tumbao Series, to the brass Alex Acuña model, each guiro timbale is designed to provide optimal high-end attack, resonance, and body, and each has its own distinct "cascara" or shell sound.
