Made one at a time in his Berkeley, California shop, this timbale is handcrafted by Pete himself and stamped with his signature. Each timbale bell is hand-welded and left raw, with only a clear coat to protect the metal's surface. The bells are then pitch-tuned by Pete's discerning ear. More like sonic works of art, Pete Engelhart bells only grow sweeter with age. No two bells are alike, and each one is painted red on the inside, Pete's signature color. All of Pete's Gon Bops timbale bells are fitted with the patented Gon Bops V-Clamp mounting system, which provides strength and versatility.
