Without adding weight, the G-Class Bass Drum Beater Head is constructed to a standard performance weight of 98.6 grams in red acrylic material. To add more mass to the “throw” of the beater head, weight can be added by simply inserting one or more of the three included magnetic cylinder weights into the circular slots located on the bottom side of the head. Each magnet weighs 5.2 grams and can be added as needed to get to desired weight.
