When even a seven-string just isn't low enough.
For when down-tuning just won’t go low enough, there’s the ESP E-II HRF NT-8B — eight strings of spine-melting possibilities. It sports an alder body with a neck-thru maple neck, 27" scale and 24 extra-jumbo frets on an ebony fingerboard on a thin U neck. And a pair of Seymour Duncan AHB-1b‐8 (B) & AHB-1n‐8 (N) active pickups pushes all of those low, low notes down the signal path without losing clarity. A Hipshot bridge and Gotoh tuners keep everything cinched down and in tune through heavy crunches and string-stretching leads.
