The West Coast La Jolla pickup system includes both the Dean Markley Tahoe soundhole pickup and the Dean Markley Barstow gold-plated under-the-bridge-saddle pickup. This dual acoustic guitar pickup system allows tone benefits from each style of pickup. In this stereo arrangement, each pickup may be equalized separately for a fat, rich tone.

The soundhole pickup will produce excellent bass and mid-range response, while the transducer will provide you with more transparent mid-range and glassy highs. In the past, guitarists have improvised similar systems, but the La Jolla Passive is truly the first complete stereo unit with voiced-matched components.

The La Jolla Passive magnetic soundhole pickup features individual string balance adjustment screws, with a Qwik-Knx connector for easy installation and removal. The Barstow Under-The-Bridge-Saddle transducer includes a mini-plug connector, 24K gold-plated end-pin jack, and 6 individual string sensors for independent string response, with the sensors in a 24K gold-plated steel casing.
