The Alvarez AD222 is a large bodied Dreadnought acoustic guitar made entirely of exotic figured dao wood. This is a full-sounding instrument with a sweet tone that has strong bass emphasis. The bound rosewood fingerboard has a split 3-piece diamond inlay at the 12th fret. The headstock is bound and is topped with a rosewood veneer that highlights the Alvarez logo inlay. The AD222 has a traditional mustache bridge made out of rosewood and has a classic white pearl soundhole rosette.
